The Louisiana State Senate confirmed four of Insurance Commissioner Tim Temple’s key senior staff appointments to their positions during the 2026 Legislative Session, according to a June 11 announcement by Temple’s office.
Whitney Greene, who joined the department on March 23, was confirmed as executive counsel, where she serves as the commissioner's senior legal advisor and assists with policy.
Dominique Jones was confirmed as deputy commissioner for the Office of Insurance Fraud. She began her career at the Louisiana Department of Insurance (LDI) in 2007 as an attorney with the department’s Legal Division before becoming insurance administrator for the Office of Insurance Fraud in October 2021.
Adam Patrick was confirmed as deputy commissioner for the Office of Policy, Innovation & Research. He joined the department in 2022 as legislative liaison, where he worked with the commissioner’s office to manage the LDI’s communication with legislators.
Tom Travis, who has served with the LDI since 2008, was confirmed as deputy commissioner for financial solvency. He previously served as deputy commissioner for the Office of Policy, Innovation & Research.
“I appreciate the Senate’s appointment of Whitney, Dominique, Adam and Tom to their positions,” Temple said in a press release. “Their knowledge and experience is invaluable as we continue to build a strong and competitive insurance market in Louisiana.”
