The Maine Bureau of Insurance said it will update its notification processes regarding invoices, copies of licenses, late renewal notices, continuing education reminder notices, license expirations and various other correspondence to now be sent via email. All emails will be sent to the primary email address on record with the bureau. If there is no email on file or the email is invalid, notices will be mailed. It said it is important for licensees to keep their contact information current, including email addresses.
In order to verify the email on file, licensees should conduct a licensee look-up via the bureau’s website at Licensee Search | PFR Insurance (maine.gov).
It noted that contact information, including email addresses, can be updated electronically via its website at Regulatory Licensing & Permitting Application | Department of Professional and Financial Regulation (maine.gov) by providing the licensee’s Maine license number and Access Code or Password.
For a list of renewal dates and fees, licensees should visit the bureau’s website at Renewal Dates and Fees | PFR Insurance (maine.gov)
Questions or concerns may be directed to the Licensing Division via email to [email protected] or by calling 207-624-8475.
