A dispute over ownership of mineral rights on property in New Mexico has been ongoing since the debtor first filed bankruptcy in 2003. More than two years after a family member was denied quiet title to the minerals, she again sought nunc pro tunc stay relief. The Bankruptcy Court in New Mexico conducted a Schumann analysis to determine whether nunc pro tunc stay relief was warranted.
