The case Karen Lee et al., v. Fidelity National Title Insurance Co. (No. A134169) was originally appealed to the Court of Appeals of California, First District, Division One, after the trial court granted summary judgment in favor of the defendant. The appeals court reversed that decision, holding that the preliminary report issued to the plaintiffs could be construed as offering coverage for the disputed parcel of land.
