According to the Fifth Circuit, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB)'s funding is unconstitutional - what does this mean for the bureau? More importantly, what does this mean for you?

This isn't the first time the CFPB has faced constitutional challenges. While six of 12 circuit courts have held the CFPB passes constitutional muster, the Fifth Circuit, covering Texas, Mississippi, and Louisiana, has disagreed in the most recent ruling on the matter. As the bureau petitions the Supreme Court to hear the case - the question is whether the Fifth Circuit decision will stand?

National experts break down the ruling for you and answer questions including:

  • What effect does this action have on the industry today?
  • What is the difference between funding from the Federal Reserve and from Congress?
  • Who does the ruling apply to?
  • Are the CFPB’s previous actions still valid?
  • What happens if this case advances to the U.S. Supreme Court?
  • Will Congress step in?
  • How should I react to this?

Get these questions and much more answered.
