Connecticut Gov. Ned Lamont announced he will reappoint Insurance Commissioner Andrew Mais. He has served as insurance commissioner since his appointment on March 4, 2019.
Mais was elected president-elect of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC). He served on the executive committee of the NAIC beginning Jan. 1, 2022. He has served on the international relations, property & casualty, and financial regulation standards committees.
He was previously a member of Deloitte’s Center for Financial Services. Additionally, he served as a director of the New York State Insurance Department, where he served four governors.
