During its annual conference in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., the Property Records Industry Association (PRIA) elected six directors in three categories to serve two-year terms on its board of directors.
Annette Hill, associate commissioner/city register, New York City Department of Finance, was elected to her fourth term; and Brandon Krause, register of deeds, Bay County, Mich., was elected to his second term. Both represent the government category.
Elizabeth Blosser, vice president of government affairs, American Land Title Association, and Jana Miyasaki, senior project manager, CSC, were elected to their second term in the business category.
Kyle Quackenbush, manager of official records, Orange County, Fla., was elected to his second term in the at-large category, along with Nakia McFarland, account executive GA/SC, Kofile Technologies, who is in her first term.
Continuing on the 2022-2023 board in their second term in the government category are Teresa Kiel, clerk, Guadalupe County, Texas; Sharon Blount-Baker, circuit clerk & ex-officio recorder, Crawford County, Ark.; and Sharon Martin, register of deeds, Washington County, Wis.
Brian Ernissee, vice president of document production, NTC, A Covius Solution; Dan Shmukler, regional account manager, Harris Recording Solutions; and Penny Reed, senior vice president, Wells Fargo Home Lending Division, all continue serving in the business category. Gerald Smith, recorder, St. Louis Co., Mo., continues in the at-large category.
The new board convened on Aug 31 to elect officers for one-year terms. Hill was elected president, Shmukler will serve as vice president, Ernissee and Smith will continue in the role of treasurer and secretary, respectively.
Jerry Lewallen, chief strategy officer, eRecording Partners Network, will serve as ex-officio immediate past president.
