The Kansas Insurance Department, in partnership with Pearson VUE, announced digital fingerprinting services are now available at Pearson VUE testing centers in Overland Park, Topeka, and Wichita, Kansas for insurance agent applicants.
“When COVID hit, the Kansas Insurance Department was the first in the nation to get producer licensing exam facilities reopened and get Kansans back to work,” Insurance Commissioner Vicki Schmidt said. “We were also one of the first states to implement online testing for applicants. Digital fingerprinting adds an additional level of convenience for applicants and helps the Department further streamline the licensing process.”
Prior to digital fingerprinting availability, prospective agents had to schedule a separate time at a local law enforcement agency to have their fingerprints taken.
