Couple seeks remand after insurers decline defense

In a dispute over property boundaries and harm to mature trees near the boundary between properties, a couple in Washington moved to remand their case against their homeowners’ insurance and title insurance providers, who did not agree to defend both of the couple in the property dispute action.
The district court in Washington examined whether the amount in controversy exceeded the jurisdictional requirement of $75,000.
