The chief legal officer of Nationwide Title Clearing (NTC) has been elected to the board of directors of the Property Records Industry Association (PRIA), the company announced.
Myron Finley will serve a two-year term on the board. He assumed his board role at PRIA’s recent conference in Nashville, Tenn.
“PRIA could not have asked for a better legal expert to sit on its board,” NTC CEO John Hillman said in a release. “Myron is a conscientious, hard-working executive that will serve the organization well as a member of its board. I'm grateful to him for his continued service to our firm and the industry, especially as it relates to a matter as critical as the public record.”
Finley has been with NTC for more than 17 years. He is a founding member of NTC’s Risk Assessment Committee, and also has served as co-chairperson of PRIA’s Business Processes and Procedures Committee.
“I'm happy to do my part to ensure that the system of land records that forms the bedrock our industry is built upon remains strong and competently managed,” Finley said. “My experience working with PRIA, its officers and members has been very good over the years. I look forward to serving these next two years as a board member and contributing to the ongoing success of the organization.”
