Alliant National Title Insurance Co., a title insurance underwriter that partners with independent agents, promoted Katherine “Kitty” Stevens to senior vice president and southeastern region agency manager.
Alliant National achieves SSAE certification
The promotion comes on the heels of Alliant National’s expansion to cover the Southeast region of the U.S., and in particular, the state of Florida. This new growth has prompted the company to divide its management areas into regions to better cater to local interests. The role of southeastern region agency manager is a new one, created to oversee the advancement of this new market.
Formerly Vice President, Florida Agent Training and Business Development, Stevens will be continuing the company’s focus on providing the highest levels of service to Alliant National’s agency and underwriting professionals. She brings to her new role 28 years of experience in all aspects of the title insurance industry; she has worked in senior agency operations and management and as claims counsel, underwriter, title plant manager and marketing professional. She is certified in real estate and also an attorney licensed by the Florida Bar, with a law degree from Wake Forest University School of Law in Winston-Salem, N.C.
“I cannot think of anyone more qualified for this position,” Alliant National President Dave Ginger said. “Kitty is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the title insurance industry, and already familiar with Alliant National’s key players and policies. We are excited to have her help lead the expansion of our national footprint.”
“This is indeed a huge honor,” Stevens said. “I have enjoyed my time here at Alliant National immensely and I look forward to the responsibilities, challenges and opportunities my new position in a larger region brings. I remain dedicated to the protection and education of consumers, and also to the success of our independent agents throughout the growing Southeastern region.”
Since first joining Alliant National, Stevens has helped spearhead best practices resources, contributed greatly to the development of a Florida education program, and also provided underwriting for the company’s team of agents.
