A joint-venture title insurance agency, Title Alliance, has appointed Susan Brody as president of its Pittsburgh-based entity, T.A. Closing Network, effective immediately. Prior to this, Susan was founder and president of Brody Abstract, Inc. which she founded in 1995.
Brody brings T.A. Closing Network more than two decades of industry leadership. She has an extensive relationship with the Title Alliance family, where she served as the assistant vice president of one of the branches prior to her time with Brody Abstract. She has experience in closing all types of residential and commercial real estate transactions.
“Sue has proven to be a respected industry leader for over two decades,” Title Alliance Director Jim Campbell said. “She has built and maintained an excellent book of business and her client mix will be a valuable complement to T.A. Closing’s existing client base.”
Brody is a results-driven leader with multifaceted experience in business administration, sales and marketing, strategic planning, client relationship management and retention and all aspects of small business ownership. She currently holds professional licensures in title insurance, real estate and notary public in Pennsylvania.
She plans to expand the company’s Realtor footprint in Western Pennsylvania. She is eager to demonstrate the additional benefits to mutual clients in terms of strength with a larger combined company, technology advances such as cloud-based document management for closing documentation through DigitalDocs/Next Deal; interactive websites and the security in knowing that the regulatory compliance factors, including the seven best practice pillars, are fully in place.
In her client letter she said: “In the past year, my time has been torn between compliance readiness and customer service. Moving forward, I will focus on you and your clients and the customer service that you have come to expect. I will still be performing the majority of your closings and will continue to be the hands on person that I have always been. I will have more time to present at your staff meetings and to be otherwise available to you to assist however you may need. I have full faith and confidence that Title Alliance is supporting the back end administration which will provide me with these freedoms.”
In Maine, Title Alliance promoted Amy Devine to the position of director of operations and Corey Bedell to the position of director of sales.
“Amy has shown enthusiasm and dedication to the Title Alliance of Maine operation,” Regional Director Jadah Hill said. “Combined with Corey’s marketing and customer relation skills, the team has set the stages for an incredible 2015.”
The Maine office also announced new changes to its real estate search provider.
“After researching the marketplace, we have decided to implement RedVision search products in our Maine operation,” Title Alliance Training Manager Michael Warner said. “We are confident the comprehensive products provided by RedVision will help us obtain a stronger position in the Portland market. We are impressed with the quality of RedVision’s product and the level of professionalism and customer service that the RedVision team can offer to Title Alliance and our clients.”
Title Alliance also will offer three minute surveys at the table for customers to take electronically. Results will be sent immediately to the corporate offices to ensure customer feedback is monitored in real time.
