The Wakulla County Clerk’s office is the latest in Florida to complete implementation of Pioneer Technology Group’s new Landmark Official Records system.
“The Landmark system was head and shoulders above all of the other systems we evaluated,” said Brent Thurmond, Wakulla County clerk. “Going live was a culmination of choosing a vendor, set up, conversion, training, and frankly, there were many opportunities for this conversion to become stressful. However, thanks to the efforts of the team at Pioneer, the process has been nearly flawless.”
The Landmark system allows recording staff to multitask and switch seamlessly between departments, tasks and workstations. Incorporating highly requested features such as tax deed processing and real time productivity monitoring, the system is offered both as a comprehensive N-Tiered structure for the largest of the counties, and as a hosted system alternative for counties that prefer not to manage a network infrastructure.
“We’re extremely pleased to have Wakulla among the growing number of clerks and recorders that are converting to Landmark,” said Steve Rumsey, president of Pioneer Technology Group. “We are also grateful that Landmark is being recognized and selected as the system of choice by recorders and registers in multiple states. While Landmark is the next generation of recording technology, ease of transition, accurate data conversion, and speed of implementation are also critical factors for our customers. “
