Landmark was chosen as the new official records system in St. Johns County, Fla. The announcement follows the recent selection of Landmark by counties in Florida, Ohio and New Hampshire and St. Johns becomes the third county in the past 30 days to elect to change to the new system.
“Our old recording software had become outdated and was not compatible with our future plans for the direction of the clerk’s office,” said Cheryl Strickland, St. Johns County clerk of the Circuit Court. “The Landmark system will greatly improve records access and provide new online features for the public, and Pioneer Technology Group (PTG) is a partner that has proven to deliver exceptional service and support. The result will be better public access, increased efficiency, and better service for the citizens of St. Johns County.”
“Pioneer is excited to add St. Johns County to the growing list of Landmark users,” said Steve Rumsey, president of PTG. “Many counties continue to struggle with outdated recording technology, relying on systems that have become obsolete and in many cases are no longer being supported. By supporting our customers and listening to their input, we’re delivering a new system that directly reflects the needs of clerks, recorders and registers of deeds themselves. We’re committed to providing the best system, service and support in our industry, and we’re grateful for the many counties that are evaluating every competing system and selecting Landmark and Pioneer.”
