WFG National Title Insurance Co. announced the hiring of a new vice president and manager of the Louisiana and Mississippi Agency group. Earle Thompson, a title insurance veteran, has joined the WFG team in the New Orleans headquarters.

Along with Earle Thompson, Debbie Thompson, agency representative, and Cindy Sloane, agency and sales support specialist, will also make the New Orleans headquarters their home.

In his new position, Earle Thompson will oversee WFG’s operations in Louisiana and Mississippi. With the help of Debbie Thompson and Sloane, he will continue to enhance WFG’s relationships in those states while providing guidance to existing agents in the area.

Before obtaining his position at WFG, Earle Thompson served as vice president and state manager for United General Title, along with being vice president and state manager for Minnesota Title Company.

He currently holds the position of secretary/ treasurer for the Louisiana Land Title Association (LLTA) and has held terms of presidency for both LLTA and the New Orleans Metropolitan Association of Mortgage Bankers. Working in the underwriting business for 17 years, Earle Thompson has been named LLTA’s Title Man of the Year in the past.

Charles Cain, senior vice president, Midwest Agency manager, believes Earle Thompson and his team will be a successful addition to WFG, considering he has been familiar with the Louisiana and Mississippi markets for quite some time.
