Title company among Harvey donors

Businesses from every part of the title insurance industry are stepping up to aid in the massive recovery effort that will be needed in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey.
A Texas-based title company will donate a portion of settlement fees received during September to relief efforts, and that sum will be matched by its underwriter. Survey: Realtors optimistic, concerned by nontraditional competitors

Realtors generally are optimistic about the continued growth of the industry. Sixty percent of commercial real estate firms and 62 percent of residential ones expect profitability from all real estate activities to increase in the next year, a survey by the National Association of Realtors found.
However, those surveyed expressed concerns about competition from nontraditional sources, especially virtual firms, increasing home prices and low inventories.
