During its Aug. 18-20 Virtual Annual Conference, the Property Records Industry Association (PRIA) elected six directors in three categories to serve two-year terms on the board of directors.
PRIA elected Annette Hill, city register/assistant commissioner, N.Y. Dept. of Finance, to a third two-year term; and Brandon Krause, register of deeds, Bay Co., Mich., to his first two-year term.
PRIA elected Elizabeth Blosser, director of grass roots and state government affairs, American Land Title Association and Jana Miyasaki, senior project manager, CSC; to a second two-year board term.
Jerry Lewallen, president, eRecording Partners Network, was re-elected to a fourth two-year term; while Kyle Quackenbush, manager of official records, Orange Co., Fla., was elected to his first two-year term, both in the at-large category.
Gerald Smith, recorder, St. Louis Co., Mo; Chris Walker, clerk, Jackson Co., Ore.; and Sharon Martin, register of deeds, Washington Co., Wis., will continue on the board for the second year of their two-year terms.
Penny Reed, senior vice president with Wells Fargo; Dan Shmukler, regional account manager, Harris Recording Solutions; and Brian Ernissee, vice president, Nationwide Title Clearing, will continue on the board in the business category.
Larry Burtness, manager of customer operations at Figure Technologies, will finish the final year of his term as an at-large director. Burtness will serve in a dual-capacity as immediate past president.
The new board convened Aug. 20 to elect officers for one-year terms. Lewallen was elected president, Hill will serve as vice president, Ernissee takes over the position of treasurer and Smith will continue in the role of secretary.
