The Court of Appeals of Utah recently ruled that a title and escrow agency’s case against the bank that held its trust account was time-barred. The agency had gotten into trouble after default judgments were filed against it in two cases and the bank was issued two writs of garnishment, which it took from the trust account, leaving insufficient funds in the account.
