Florida agency promotes compliance officer

Independence Title Inc. of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., named Tracy Quinn as its company compliance manager. Quinn will continue to serve as office manager and will take on the additional role of compliance manager effective this month.
As Independence’s compliance manager, Quinn will oversee Independence’s file compliance programs. She is put into this role to adapt to the stricter demands of today’s ever-changing title insurance industry.
Included in her current duties will be the implementation of improved employee and title insurance training, closing file audits and programs designed to update and track adherence to the company’s policies and procedures with the emphasis on customer retention. The position will reinforce the company’s main objective of maintaining strong communication with customers while making sure to always adhere to industry regulations.
Quinn came to Independence in 2003 with several years of real estate services and has moved up the ranks to office manager for the past 5 years.
